WATER TREATMENT EQUIPMENT PERSONNEL CERTIFICATION
ASSE 22000 Certification
With stories of poor water quality making headlines across the country and increasing consumer demand for water treatment systems, the need for qualified, knowledgeable professionals to install, maintain and repair these systems has never been higher.
ASSE 22010 Water Treatment Equipment Installer Certification and ASSE 22020 Water Treatment Equipment Service/Repair Technician Certification provide consumers, water treatment dealers, and regulators with important options and benefits — consumers have the ability to search for contractors who can properly install and maintain water treatment equipment; water treatment dealers are equipped with a third-party certification program to ensure qualifications are verified; and regulators are provided with a third-party certification option in lieu of specialty licensing. Properly trained professionals means properly operating water treatment equipment, resulting in safer, healthier and happier water consumers.
Certified Water Treatment Equipment Installers and Service/Repair Technicians will have the skills and competencies to properly install and maintain water treatment equipment and knowledge of the applicable laws, codes, standards, rules, listing agencies, and regulations from the federal and local levels pertaining to point-of-use and point-of-entry (POU/POE) water treatment equipment.
