INSTALLER CERTIFICATION

 

Who is this certification for?

  • Applies to individuals who install rainwater catchment systems.

How do you become certified?

  • A minimum of three years documented practical experience in installing rainwater catchment, plumbing, piping, irrigation, or related piping systems.
  • 16-hour training course encompassing ASSE Standard 21110 (Rainwater Catchment Systems Installers) and ARCSA/ASPE/ANSI 63-2013: Rainwater Catchment Systems.
  • 50-question written exam covering ASSE Standard 21110, ARCSA/ASPE/ANSI 63-2013, and general piping installation knowledge.

ASSE 21130

RAINWATER AND STORMWATER CATCHMENT SYSTEMS
INSPECTOR CERTIFICATION

 

Who is this certification for?

  • Applies to individuals who inspect rainwater and/or stormwater catchment systems.

How do you become certified?

  • A minimum of two years of experience in rainwater catchment, plumbing, piping, inspection, irrigation, or a related industry field or profession.
  • 8-hour training course encompassing ASSE Standard 21130 (Inspectors of Rainwater and Stormwater Catchment Systems), ARCSA/ASPE/ANSI 63-2013: Rainwater Catchment Systems, and ARCSA/ASPE/ANSI 78-2015: Stormwater Harvesting System Design for Direct End-Use Applications.
  • 50-question written exam covering ASSE Standard 21130, ARCSA/ASPE/ANSI 63-2013, and ARCSA/ASPE/ANSI 78-2015.

ASSE 21120

RAINWATER CATCHMENT SYSTEMS
DESIGNER CERTIFICATION

 

Who is this certification for?

  • Applies to individuals who design, plan, specify, and perform calculations for rainwater catchment systems.

How do you become certified?

  • A minimum of two years of experience in rainwater catchment, plumbing, piping, irrigation, or a related industry field or profession.
  • 16-hour training course encompassing ASSE Standard 21120 (Rainwater Catchment Systems Designers) and ARCSA/ASPE/ANSI 63-2013: Rainwater Catchment Systems.
  • 100-question written exam covering ASSE Standard 21120 and ARCSA/ASPE/ANSI 63-2013.

  • A minimum amount of years experience or documented practical experience required to qualify for certification (varies by certification)
  • Required comprehensive training course(s) encompassing ASSE Standard(s) (length varies by certification)

  • Certification is valid for three years
  • Refresher course, written exam, and practical exam required for recertification
